On-Location Photographer, Garrett Hamilton, was born in the gigantically small town of Jasper, NY on February 2nd 1989, and lived there until the age of 18. Hamilton has always been inspired by mechanics, raw power, and beauty. He has won numerous photographical contest, including a 1st Place finish in the 2007 New York State Skills USA competition going up against over 30 other photographers. His fascination with color, lens dynamics, and light, grew and grew until finally, after enough begging, he received his first digital SLR camera from his parents as a high school graduation gift. He is always trying to improve and out-do himself with each movement of the shutter and is constantly growing as a photographer and person. He believes in his grass roots upbringing and conveys this in his straight forward attitude and photographic style. Currently residing in the Southern Tier of Western New York, Garrett is available for travel world-wide for work encompassing action-lifestyle portraiture, motorsports, highschool seniors, fashion and advertising interests. Garrett prides himself with the knowledge and employment of the latest high end digital cameras by Nikon, multicore processing stations by Apple Inc., and is a graduate of Boston University College of Communications.
