I typically photograph detail shots during the wedding, but this one-off bridal memoir shoot was special and I HAD to include her gorgeous red heels

This was the parting shot of the day, I had her sit on the bike as the sun was setting and the wind blowing in my direction, creating a haze in the background and I had my assistant fluff her dress up, run out of the shot and I quickly took the image.

This is an image I took in Indiana the night before Cassie and Zac's wedding. This is an old silo that has a tree growing up through the middle of it and I hand light-painted the word 'love' in the photo.

The day was crazy, and was only made crazier by the weather we had in NY. The rain was hammering down during the ceremony, but we got some gorgeous images when the sun peaked through during the bridal photos

LOVE! The lighting on their faces was amazing and I really wanted to capture the connection between them, in a subtle way. Kristen was so comfy in Mike's arms and I feel this image really shows that.

When you get married and hire your wedding photographer, he or she not only is going to take photos of your day, but they are going to be a part of your day in little ways that you may not even be aware of. Most wedding photographers won't dare to capture this image, or even encroach on the area of alter. Obviously, I break the rules here and there.

Pshh, you like to party? Me too! I love photographing weddings and a lot of awesome images get created during the wedding reception. I shot this photo near Corning, NY in the later stages of the reception. I use off-camera lighting during the wedding reception to create a unique look at the venue.

Put a ring on it! The lighting was really something special that day for this wedding. The sun was pouring in, it was hot and muggy, but these guys rocked it!

The first kiss. I love shooting into the sun on most occasions, as a wedding photographer I'm constantly trying to find the light and create a unique photo.

Bridal party photography is a huge part of the events for the day. I typically spend an hour and a half shooting the bridal party and then it's onto the reception!

Right after I created this image; I told them that their florist was going to love this shot!

Their long driveway was a gorgeous spot to do the wedding photography and the girls fell in line in perfect formation!

Here is the old silo with the tree growing through it. Cassie and Zac had their wedding just 50 yards from this gorgeous structure and we decided to recreate some images they had back when they first met.

Bouquet toss! I think Cassie may have cheated a little bit on this one. Are you supposed to look where you toss it? It was a heck of a toss though!

Cider Creek in Hornell, NY was a gorgeous wedding venue. It was my first time going there in general, and my first time as a wedding photographer. I was very impressed.

You can't forget the wedding rings! I love when couples let me "steal" these for a little bit so I can go work my magic with them.

As a wedding photographer, I feel my duty is to be there for the majority of what I call "getting around". This is a time where we get to create images like this one, and looking back, you as a bride, will really remember how gorgeous that day was.

Just like the dress, and the rings, I think the shoes a bride chooses to wear is just as important. It completes your look and how you feel on your wedding day.

This barn where Brian and Jessica got married had an incredible loft in the op of it, I was able to sneak up there during their wedding ceremony to photograph them from above.

These guys were awesome at following directions, and seriously made my job easy on this hot day! I loved this old house, just outside of the wedding venue and I wanted to have it in the shot as the sun slipped away in the background.

Porsche is seriously a stunner, and the way she let her emotions shine through on her wedding day was enough for me to (almost) cry myself! The note her future husband sent to her as they were getting dress was priceless!

I spend the majority of the mornings at a wedding photographing the bride with her bridesmaids. This covers everything from the little snacks, cookies, the mamosas, and of course, the hair and makeup before the dresses get put on.

I snuck this shot in as the bride meets with her dad and is overcome with emotion at the sight of each other on the big wedding day!

The best man is there through it all, even down the helping pin on that mysterious boutonniere!
